Castlewood Unified Champion Schools Partners Club
Unified Champion Schools is a program through Special Olympics that helps join disabled individuals with their non disabled peers. Here in Castlewood we have established a group that not only embraces the idea of competetive sports for disabled individuals and their non-disabled peers, but also incorporating community involvement, leadership, whole school engagement, and many more aspects of inclusion.
Our group typically meets every week during the lunch hour to discuss the recent events of our club and also plan ahead to other ways we can become involved. Currently 7-12 students can be members. We are always looking for new members and ideas!
