latest ROSE Award
The Castlewood Education Foundation presented the ROSE Award for the 2021-22 school year to Ayrica and Chuck DeBoer. Ayrica and Chuck support the youth by sponsoring “Good Job!” and “Random Acts of Kindness” coupons to be used at Ida’s; spearheading and making lunches for those in need during Covid in 2020 when the scool was shut down; hosting movie parties for all; and welcoming everyone, especially kids, into their business after school and home games..

THE WINNING TEAM IN THE CEF GOLF TOURNAMENT consisted of Case Wiarda, Canyon Ching, Lucas Hoftiezer and Lucas Ching.
CEF holds annual tourney
Forty teams participated in the 2022 CEF golf tournament on June 18. Tournament proceeds fund Innovative Education Grants to teachers, classroom field trips, funds for music and the arts, and scholarships for graduates.

Innovative Education writing grant awarded
Lisa Brandt, third grade teacher, received a grant for "We Can All Be Writers" using the Not So Wimpy Third Grade Writing Units and Masterclass writing class.
