  • Karen Schooley ROSE Award Schooley chosen for
    2018-19 ROSE Award
Former CEF board member Karen Schooley was honored with the ROSE Award for 2018-19. Schooley recently retired from serving as a board member of CEF. She also served as the treasurer from 2012 through 2018. During her tenure she managed funds for grants, scholarships, golf tournaments and other CEF projects and fundraisers.

The award presenter commented, "Keeping track of these projects and funds is no small task. You gladly took on the task of serving as our treasurer in 2012. You did a tremendous job organizing what started out as a new foundation and helped it grow into an organization that is the envy of many small schools."

Schooley was presented with a Precious Moments figurine honoring volunteerism. "I hope that when you look at it you remember that your efforts have touched the lives of Castlewood students," the presenter said.
